"I am from the Los Angeles, California area, now living in Queens, New York. I taught children in the Los Angeles area for over 4 years at the beginning of my career. I have a lifelong experience with Spanish. I started learning Spanish when I was 6 years old and my experiences learning the language really give me a lot of insight into what the students experience as they go through the language learning process. I earned a BA from UC Santa Cruz and I got my TEFL certificate in 2021. I have seen many students make good progress in their writing, sentence structure and pronunciation with my lessons.
I am great at ESL lessons and I really enjoy doing that type of lesson. I am also a good conversation teacher. I have 7+ years of teaching all ages. I have worked with many Asian adults and children in person and online. G oing through the Spanish language aquisition process myself has given me insight to what the ESL students are going through. I had many English learners where I lived before in Great Neck. I helped them improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence structure, reading, writing and more.
