"I graduated in 2009 from SUNY Oswego with a B.S. in Adolescent Education and English. I graduated in 2013 from SUNY New Paltz with a Masters of Education in Special Education and Literacy. I have been teaching special education for almost a decade, and specialize in reading intervention. The students I work with all have IEPs, and most have learning disabilities, ADHD, ODD, Autism, and other related disabilities and disorders. Outside of teaching, I’ve always been great with kids. I always end up with a good rapport with my students, and I was a director at a summer camp prior to graduating from college. I have tutored students 1:1 in this time frame as well, from 6th grade all the way up to adult. I am hard-working, dependable, and determined to make sure each student I work with feels confident, increases their skill set, and above all feels that it was a good experience to keep the student wanting to learn.
