"Hi there! My name is Netta and I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Sustainability Management at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. I completed the last academic year with a GPA of 3.98 out of the 4.0 scale. My love for environmental sciences began in early middle school, and I look forward to starting my career in the field. I took various college-leveled courses throughout high school, including a summer class at Fordham University in NYC. As a result, I am very comfortable teaching elementary and middle school level environmental sciences, ecology, and writing at any level.

As someone who used to be an anxious learner, I approach my students with patience and compassion. While working together, I will emphasize the importance of communication to help you gain confidence and make learning a more enjoyable experience.

I enjoy working with my students in helping them create an individualized learning plan. Everyone has a unique approach to studying, and I look forward to developing one utilizing your skills and methods while introducing new ones of my own. I use visual tools to help teach science subjects, including Environmental Science, Ecology, and Elementary Science. I spent three years of high school in a specialized science research program where I developed my own experiments including creating a safer and natural pesticide/herbicide alternative. During this program I received several awards and honors for my work.

I have extensive experience working with research-based pieces. I also truly enjoy creative writing pieces, including poems and personal essays. Working on outlines and drafts is a part of the process I will guide you through as well.
