"I have taught English as a Foreign Language for nearly 8 years while living and working in South Korea. I have experience not only working for formal education establishments i.e. private schools, public schools, and universities. I have also tutored students of varying ages from elementary students through working adults. I greatly enjoy helping others improve not only as students, but better individuals, and members of a community.

When I enter the classroom, or lecture hall, as an English instructor - my focus is specific. That focus is to present useful information to my students while serving as guide and mentor on a fantastic journey, tapping into the curiosity of their minds by exposing them to well established ideas and introducing new concepts in fun, interesting ways, but from a “functional” standpoint. By “functional,” I also mean practical. Students thrive on gaining new knowledge, but they need to know “Why” they are learning it and “How” they will use it in the future. They want to be inspired to learn, and one of my goals is to be the catalyst.
