"Hello, I’m an ESL tutor, with more than 12 years of experience tutoring adults, one-on-one, as well as small groups, with

varying levels of English expertise. My students include business people, students, professionals and others, all looking to improve their language skills. My approach is not that “one size fits all”; although many students do in fact share some of the same issues, each has specific interests, needs and goals, which I address. I do my best to arrange classes at the convenience of each student.

In addition, I share American customs and traditions, helping to make living and working in the US more satisfying.

Assimilating into the American society requires a balance between conserving an individual’s ethnicity with their new life, as not to become isolated from the mainstream. Understanding not only the language, but also local practices and customs, is key.
