I've taught second through fourth grade ESL and fourth grade in a bilingual classroom. I've volunteered as an English tutor at the International Refugee Center of Oregon. I lived in Portugal for two years and Mexico for one month.

I believe learning should be fun. Learning should also be interactive and contextual. Effective learning should be applicable to real-world situations and based on what the student already knows.
