"Hello, my name is R.J. and I am an ESL/TESOL tutor in the Milwaukee area. I received my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2012. I am currently in the process of getting my TESOL certification from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and will be TESOL certified in May of 2017. I have a passion for languages and language learning and really enjoy working with students to improve their English speaking, writing, and reading skills. I have studied Polish, French, Spanish and Italian throughout high school and as an undergrad at university. I found having background knowledge of various languages can be beneficial while working with students; especially if the student speaks one of the languages in which I have experience.

I really enjoy seeing my students improve their English skills from lesson to lesson. I strive to make the language learning process as fun and enjoyable as possible, while still fulfilling the students expectations. I am easy-going and can adapt the lesson for the student to help maximize their language learning. If a student wants to focus on a particular area such as; reading, writing, or speaking, I will ensure more time is spent on the area the student wants to improve their skills.

I have a flexible schedule and will be as accommodating as possible for my students. Recognizing the busy lives of my students, I will be willing to work with them to adjust the schedule as needed to make it work for both of us.
