I prefer to be called Trudy. I am presently attending graduate school to pursue Mental Health Counseling and licensure as a Professional Counselor. I want to give back to others through support and education. I have skills/experience working with diverse populations, which include military families and individuals with special needs. My experiences include facilitating and tutoring within an afterschool "Homework Club" program for five years and directing non-profit agency programs that provided community and personal education and training. Professionally I have rendered educational services to youth, adults, professionals and community organizations,in group and individual sessions. I poses excellent communication and organizational skills. I like to asses the needs of the individual so that we can collectively create a plan to meet the expectations of the student. Clarity of my expectations and guidelines will be identified at the onset of the tutoring and an evaluation of progress will be implemented to provide feedback to student/family on an on-going basis.Tutoring will be modified to fit changing needs when necessary.
