Online tutoring takes place via Zoom. I am very comfortable with zoom and can make it very personable so the learning experience is still the same as in person tutoring. I am also very open to any other online learning platforms that can make learning easy.

Background:

I graduated with a Master's in Electrical Engineering. As a graduate student, I was a teaching assistant for undergraduate engineering and science classes. I have been tutoring for the past 4-5 years. I mainly tutor high school and undergraduate math and high school physics.

Teaching/Tutoring Method:

For the most part, I try to focus on helping the student understand the concepts. I have an excellent understanding of the subject and I can break it down to the simplest way possible so that the student can understand. As the student tries to learn from me, I constantly keep an open mind about changing strategies so that the student can learn in the best way possible and do well. I am very encouraging and easy to get along. Besides helping the student learn the concepts, I also try to help with test taking skills.

Past experience:

I have tutored many many students from Torrey Pines, Canyon Crest Academy, West View High School and other schools nearby in the nearby San Diego School Districts. I have tutored all regular and AP Math classes which include Calculus AB & BC and AP Physics B and C. I have had great success with AP students and 99% of my students went on to score a 4 or a 5.
