I have recently graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Honors and Mathematics. I am soon to become a PhD student specializing in General Relativity and aspects of Quantum Theory. I hope to one day become a Professor of General Relativity and Cosmology, and regularly teach, just as I do here.
I have always had a passion for teaching complicated topics. I believe anything can be understood by anyone, it's just a matter of time and patience. I started learning of my love for teaching people when I was quite young, and I've been running with it ever since. In middle school I launched my own science club for elementary and middle school students. I put together lessons on interesting scientific topics and new research and then presented it to the club members. In high school I created a biology course and taught it to middle schoolers. In college I helped my classmates with difficult physics concepts, and helped them solve hard homework problems provided by our professor.
The topics I tutor in include Grades 6 through 12 Mathematics (Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Elementary Mathematics, etc.), AP Classes (AP Physics 1, AP Physics C Mechanics, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, ets.), Honors Classes, College level Calculus I - III, Physics I and II, Modern Physics I and II, Quantum Mechanics, Special Relativity, Theoretical Classical Mechanics, other classes.
In 2016, I self studied the AP Physics 1 material and scored in the top 5% nationwide on the AP exam. If you are seeking help with AP Physics, I can definitely provide you the understanding and tips/tricks that are not generally found in books in order to score high on the test.
I believe that a tutor's job is not only to help increase understanding for a given subject, but also to inspire curiosity for the wonderful universe we live in. If you need someone, reach out to me, and let's get started!" less...
