"Hello, My name is Oliver! I studied Sociology, History and Art at University of Redlands! I attended a unique education program where students had a close relationship with professors. It is through this, that I formed my approach to teaching. I allow every student to have some degree of control over their learning, either through subject matter (ex. Math word problems may feature Pokemon, or Paw Patrol), or by personalizing my approach based upon student learning preferences.
I'm thrilled to be able to reach students in their time of need, when school might be a little tough. I believe in making learning fun through play. For your writer, I can approach writing in a well-paced fun manner. I have done one-on-one writing sessions in both creative fiction and essay for teens. For students getting ready for college, I'm happy to work on specific and focused skills, from grammar to writing organization.
I have also spent two years as a one-on-one English Li" less...
