"Hello my name is Kiara S. I am currently a fifth grade teacher and I have been teaching for five years. Prior to teaching, I tutored students in grades Kindergarten- 8th grade for about 2 years. I received both my bachelor's and master's degree from Xavier University of Louisiana. I am certified to teach Elementary Education grades K-6 in the state of Louisiana,Texas, and Georgia. My favorite subject is math but, I love to read and teach children how to read.

My approach to teaching and tutoring varies upon on each student and their personal learning style. I am a hands on learner but from experience, I've learned that all children do not learn the same.
