"Hi, I’m Micah! I graduated in with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Software Development. I have over 7 years experience in Software and Web development. I’ve always had a love for computers, and I enjoy designing websites and apps for career and personal hobby.

I understand how entry computer science concepts can be daunting, and I use a real world approach to help conceptualize intimidating concepts. I act as a mentor in my full time job as a Senior Software Engineer, and have received feedback around my method to break down large problems into small, digestible problems we can solve together. I’ve worked with students in middle, high school, and college working on subjects like algebra, web development, and program development.

My tutoring approach is collaborative, and we will use online IDEs or to work on sample projects I provide or any projects you need help with. Together, I will guide you through steps while ensuring time after for students to implement their own code, queries, or examples.
