"I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in English and worked in the writing center as a tutor while I was an undergrad. I recently earned a Master's Degree in Creative Writing and had to critique and edit other student's work. I taught preschool and special education for 10 years helping young children with fundamental writing skills. It's very satisfying to figure out what methods work with each student to ensure their love of learning.

In my own school experience, I always liked teachers best who were interested in their students and wanted them to succeed. One of my college professors once said, "The person you are is more important than what you're teaching." I truly believe this and it goes hand in hand with being highly skilled in your subject area.

I'm also an editorial assistant and a writer, so I have an eye for grammar and proofreading, as well as advanced degrees in this field.
