I self-studied for the LSAT for three months and scored a 174. Studying for the LSAT is an ultra-marathon -- and I'm here to make your process more manageable. I take a student-driven approach to my tutoring that combines instruction with practice problems.

My strategy for logical reasoning is to walk through different types of questions using the conclusion-first strategy. I try to strike a balance between technical skills and reasonable problem-solving methods. For reading comprehension, I will help you understand the bigger picture of the argument without missing smaller details.

***Sliding scale: I believe that the LSAT can be an institutional barrier to accessing law school for low-income students and students from marginalized communities. I offer sliding scale payments specifically for students who cannot afford higher-cost LSAT tutors. My minimum price is $42 per hour, though I am open to exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

Sliding scale is NEED-BASED only, please! I use the honor system, but tutoring is my main source of income. My standard price of $60/hour helps me continue to offer low-cost lessons to other students.

Bulk and/or group lessons: I do offer discounts if you schedule in bulk or with another student. Please inquire about my policies.

Cancellation policy: 12 hours notice. I will waive my cancellation fee the first time, but I still must be given at least 15min advance notice. If I’m not given any notice and/or it is your second late cancellation, I charge 70% of the lesson rate. If, for some reason, I miss a scheduled lesson without notice, I will offer a 50% discount on the student's following lesson." less...
