"I'm Joseph -- I graduated with a Master of Science degree in Modern Human Anatomy, and a Teaching Certificate in Anatomical Sciences Education. I currently teach multiple courses of Anatomy and Physiology at the undergraduate level, and have prior experience teaching anatomy courses at the graduate level. Regarding my past tutoring experiences, I have two years experience tutoring undergraduate Cell Biology, Gross Anatomy, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. In these roles, worked directly with students that needed additional time with the materials by making active learning review activity bundles that they could work through. These consisted of sequenced activities that mapped along with their lectures and learning objectives and could also be used as comprehensive exam study tools.

As an tutor, I aim to create an active and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking and answering questions. A truly low-stakes place where students can be wrong, and we can discuss the rationale behind both the right and wrong answers. To create lessons where concepts are topically relevant and thoroughly interlinked. And perhaps most importantly, a place where student feedback is valued and rapidly implemented. Student feedback will be immediately acted upon and resources/session structure changed to accommodate the student as best as possible.
