My name is Ms. Wen. I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a master degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I hold Wisconsin K-12 ESL, grade 4-12 English, and K-12 Mandarin teaching certifications. I have experience teaching English Language Art to ninth graders in high school and eighth graders in middle school in the United States, and my students enjoyed my classes.

As an outgoing teacher, I believe that interest is the best motivator. My teaching style focuses on making students feel comfortable and happy by integrating their favorite interests and hobbies into the learning process. In addition to my experience in the U.S., I tutored students from junior high school to university in China during my undergraduate years, specializing in English and Chinese.

Moreover, I have studied Japanese for two years, giving me a basic understanding of the language. And I am learning Spanish now because so many my students’ native language is Spanish and I want to get to know them better.
