I graduated from Dartmouth College in 1996, with a B.A. in English Literature. I scored a 1580 SAT back in the days of paper tests (and long form Reading Comprehension sections).

In my other life, I'm a music supervisor for TV and Film. I live in Austin so I see a ton of live music! And in any other spare time you can find me in the pool.

As for my approach -- I want to know your goals first, and your concerns, and then help you crush these tests and move on to more important things. I always aim to be more of your collaborator (one with some helpful expertise) than any kind of drill sergeant -- high school is already stressful enough, my aim is always to take some pressure off, and help you succeed.

I've tutored both for prestigious private companies and independently, online and in person, Verbal, Math, all score levels - and I can say I've enjoyed every single session. The biggest reward is always watching a student achieve scores they weren't at all sure would be possible.

If anything, I probably specialize in higher-scoring students -- moving from 1350 to 1600. But I love working with everyone - no matter where you are now, whether you've been prepping already for months, or if you've never even thought about a PSAT & are just getting started, would love to work with you.
