"Hi, I'm Erin! I have a BA in English Literature, a MA in English, and an MFA in English and Creative Writing. I first developed my love for literature as a high school student taking AP English Language and Composition classes. It was in these classes that I had a teacher whom really supported my interest in literature and left a great impact on me, which inspired me to pursue my studies in English as an undergraduate and graduate student.

I use patience and understanding to support my students on their learning journey. In each of my classes, I work with my students to reach their learning objectives. In our first class, I will assess your learning needs so we can make a plan of action. I use various resources in my online classes to support these learning goals.

With six years of experience teaching English and ESL as an Adjunct Professor, I have the pleasure of teaching learners of all levels both online and in-person. I teach students ranging from middle school to business executives.

The courses I teach include: all levels of ESL, English Composition, Business English, and Communications. I have experience teaching on various online platforms including Zoom and Google Meet. The size of my classes ranges from one-on-one students to classes as large as 25 students.

As a lifelong learner, I believe in the importance in always learning new things. This mindset has allowed my teaching approach to really resonate with my students as I understand the transformative power of learning and education.
