"Hello! I am Michaela and I am currently a third grade teacher, though I have worked in general education and special education through all elementary and middle school grades and subjects. I graduated summa cum laude in 2019 with a BA in Elementary Education, a minor in English Literature, and a concentration and certification in teaching STEAM. Currently, I am finishing up my M.Ed in Reading and Language for K-12, where I currently have a 4.0 GPA. I have tutored on the side throughout my professional career, and have worked consistently with the same happy families! Parents have described me as knowledgeable, accommodating, and personable.

As a teacher and a tutor, my motto is that all students have the ability and drive to succeed, as long as they are provided with the resources to do so. I vow to work with you or your child to find personal and academic strengths and deficits, and use that knowledge to spark growth and success. Every learner’s brain works differently, and I will help you or your child understand the tools and skills you need to feel confident in your ability as a learner. As a tutor, I typically begin gathering baseline data in order to help me understand what tailored and specific help is needed in a given scenario.
