"Hello! I am Frank O. I have been in healthcare for 18 years and teaching for 15 years. I have worked as an American Red Cross Lifeguard, State of Florida Licensed Paramedic/Firefighter, Emergency room paramedic, and ER Registered Nurse. I have also taught EMT class and First Responder. I earned my certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN). Additionally, I teach American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support. I currently work as a nursing clinical instructor for three different colleges working with students in the hospital setting and simulation lab. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Atlantic University College of Nursing. I am finishing my master's in nursing education at Chamberlain University in August.

I am a passionate educator who has had the unfortunate experience of being "taught" by boring, rude, impatient, and unknowledgeable instructors. I will never be that type of tutor or educator. I aim to be the best instructor by tailoring learning to the learner and relating subjects and topics in a way the student can remember. I have received tremendous positive feedback about my teaching and tutoring from my nursing students. I am making a difference in healthcare by preparing nurses through effective teaching methods that include visual aids, stories, and easy to understand explanations. My motivation and determination is to increase confidence in my students. I truly love to teach. My favorite skill is to provide learners with helpful tools, hints, and tricks to use in their studies.
