"I have been tutoring for over 10 years for students ranging in age from middle school to adult. I tutor most types of math with a particular strength in algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. My goal in tutoring is to help a student feel more confident with the material and perform better in the course as a result. I love helping my students understand math problems at a deeper level so that they aren't just going through the motions to get the answer. I ask questions during sessions frequently to gauge whether my student fully understands the concepts behind what they are doing -- not just what to do, but why.

I am proud to be a double husky, meaning that I have two degrees from Northeastern University. I completed my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering in 2017. I worked as a manufacturing process engineer for 4 years before discovering that my true passion was data analytics. I returned to Northeastern to get my masters degree in Analytics, and now work at the MBTA as an operations data analyst.

I started out tutoring chemistry and math in high school in 2012, then tutored Organic Chemistry throughout college. Nowadays, I focus more on math and data analytics tutoring. I can tutor the following subjects:

Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Statistics, SAT Math, R programming, SQL (structured query language), Microsoft Excel

I prefer to meet with students in person, at their home or a public place like a library or coffee shop. I live in Littleton, MA and am willing to travel up to 15 minutes for no additional charge. If longer than 15 minutes, I may charge a reduced hourly rate for travel time. I am also happy to tutor online -- this is something I started doing during the pandemic and never stopped doing.
