I love photography and I have since I was 9 years old after receiving my first camera. Photography is a great and mis-understood medium-- taken for granted and seriously under-used. I teach by immersion/experiential since it is the most effective (as with anything new) and because it produces the best results that remain with the student forever. Photography is not an art because of its use of a camera, but in its ability to change the way we see ourselves and our world.
