"Hi all! My name is Caroline and I am an alumni of Holy Family and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I majored in Biology during my undergrad, and Biomedical Sciences for my master's degree. My academic road has been quite the journey, but I can truly say it would have been even harder without the amazing and passionate teachers that I have been lucky enough to have encountered. To this day, I'll never forget my sophomore history science teacher jumping on top of his desk in the middle of a lecture. Now while, I don’t envision that I will be jumping onto desks anytime soon, I do hope that I can bring some of that engagement and passion to my approach in tutoring to make learning easier.

I have close to 6 years of tutoring experience, starting in my senior year of high school where I was in an honor’s society, and was expected to complete a certain number of hours by the end of graduation. Through tutoring English, History and Science, I realized how much I love teaching and helping others succeed. I continued to tutor in college, guiding my classmates and underclassmen through premed courses such as Biology I & II, Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology and Biochemistry. With each student, I developed structured lessons tailored to best suit their needs and learning style, helping them form test taking strategies while also making scientific concepts engaging to enforce learning.

I am also open to proofreading any essays ranging from high school level and above. Although my degrees are rooted in the sciences, I have always excelled in English and writing papers (research or otherwise), and was in both AP Language and AP Literature during high school.
