My name is Shaunda K. I have been a licensed cosmetologist in California for over 30 years and been and educator for 20. Education at all levels is truly my passion,from Freshman to State Board Preparation. I strive to build confidence in my students from day one. But at the level of preparing for your state board exam, my main focus it to help you feel comfortable, confidence and at ease about taking the most important test of your life. I will tutor you on both practical and written parts of the exam.

My dedication is to the student, and my patience and understanding of all levels of learning, makes it easier for all students. I have been to State Board training classes to be updated on any changes as far as testing. I earned my Cosmetology Instructors license, my Master Educator certificate from Milady' and my BA in Education. More than any paper can prove, I myself have proven myself with very good pass rate. But my love for sharing my yrs of knowledge and compassion for the professional is shown through my dedication.

My classes cover the NIC practical and written for CA. Classes will be online only through video and or live instruction. The written will cover General Sciences, Hair Care, Skin Care, Nail Care, Sanitation, Disinfection, Infection Control, and Client protection." less...
