"I am a high school, ESL certified (EC-12) math teacher, currently teaching algebra 1. I have a Master's degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Education.

I have more than 13 years of teaching and tutoring elementary, middle and high school math experience. My students have achieved great success in not only improving class grades but scores in STAAR as well. Also, I have worked as an Apollo math fellow at HISD. Through this tutoring program, I have had the privilege to teach students from different backgrounds. I worked with them in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and Calculus.

I believe, every child can learn and can be successful. Through differentiated and individualized instruction, every lesson can be made interesting and easy to understand. Also, I believe, setting up the realistic goals for a child and strive to achieve those goals, is the key to success.
