"I am an experienced tutor. I have over 20 years of experience as independent tutor. I am also a certified tutor with Tutor Finders of America. I have been a certified tutor with Sylvan Learning Centers for 8 years and have served as their Director of Education. I have experience tutoring students ages 4- 75 in Phonics, Beginning Reading, Academic Reading, Writing, Elementary Mathematics, Math Essentials, Study Skills, Pre-Algebra,and Algebra I. In addition I have a Masters Degree in K-12 Cross Categorical Special Education and graduate coursework in Christian Education. I received my teaching certification from the Maryland State Department of Education to teach Special Education students grades Birth through 12th grade and Business Education Certificate in grades 6-12.
