"Hello! I am an experienced teacher with certifications in English and social studies for grades 6 - 12, as well as Waldorf high school education. I am neurodivergent and am highly attuned to the needs of neurodivergent students (with diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, and ODD, among others). I have a proven track record of success with such students, in addition to my own educational career and the things I have learned to do in order to succeed.

I have been teaching in some form since 2012; I started by teaching German, social studies, and English at a Waldorf high school, then transitioned to online tutoring. In January 2020, I returned to the classroom in a charter alternative school, teaching world history. I was there through the worst of the pandemic, pivoting between in person, distance, and combined learning situations. In 2021, I moved to a large urban high school, where I taught US and world history for two years. I'm now dedicating myself to one to one teaching, specializing in history, English, and language instruction (German and EFL).
