"My name is Gennie, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middlebury College with a BA in Chemistry. At Middlebury, I tutored all grade levels in General and Organic Chemistry. I worked in small groups and one-on-one. I went to a Specialized High school (Brooklyn Tech) and received a distinction in my Chemistry Regents and a 5 on the AP Chemistry exam. I have tutored all levels in college and have worked with high school students to improve their grades and understanding of chemistry. I am very fond of working with students and find the experience of seeing a student grow to be very rewarding. In my tutoring, I aim to have the student understand the material and to develop as a learner and thinker. I enjoy working through problems with the student and helping them make sense of the material in a way that works for their learning style.
