"Howdy! I'm Juan. I am a Mechanical Engineer/Mathematician. While I was doing my Ph.D., I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for 2 years. During that appointment I proctored, lectured and solved questions from students in the subjects:

-Fluid Mechanics Lab

-Material Science Lab

After graduation, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher for 3 years doing multiphase-multiscale mathematical modelling of complex manufacturing processes used in Nanotechnology using the theory of Continuum Mechanics. During the Postdoctoral Position, I was also appointed as Visiting Assistant Professor for 6 consecutive semesters at Texas A&M University teaching:

-MEEN602: Modelling and Analysis of Mechanical Systems

-CLEN201: Tools for Engineering Analysis.

Since I studied Mathematics at an undergraduate level, I have a deep understanding in fields such as:

-Linear Algebra

-Real Analysis and Functional Analysis

In addition, given that my field of expertise is Continuum Mechanics, I have a high-level understanding of fields such as:
