"I have devoted twenty years working with college students of varying ages and degree levels in the fields of library research and English language studies. My studies and work experiences have led to a deeply held commitment to students and their aspirations, and transcended any other form of living I might have imagined. My academic background as a tentative community college student quickly became a resolution to continue my education as long as that proved possible. I spent many years combining other jobs with study before attaining positions in the academic world that enabled me to integrate my life with the academic world. My life quickly became that of a committed teacher and librarian.

I received graduate degrees in Library Studies and in English Language and Literature along my academic odyssey and completed the course work for a PhD in Environmental Literature. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity I had to study in these fields and believe the highest honor I can convey upon the many people whom I studied under is to offer the skills I learned from them to others. I want to assure anyone who chooses to engage me as a tutor that I have an obligation to offer the best services I am able and to bring my academic heritage to bear on the needs of students who are spending parts of their lives in what I think to be the best of human endeavors.
