My name is Sinjin. I specialize in Study Skills, Communication, English, Film, and the Adobe Suite. I graduated with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Film and Electronic Media. From 2012 to 2020, I worked as a professional tutor and media coach at Long Beach City College, where I was assigned as an educational coach to help clients with scholarship applications and homework questions and create study guides to enhance their comprehension of course materials. My passion for helping students succeed in their schoolwork has taught me the importance of finding clear and distinguishable study objectives to enhance comprehension of assignments.

During my time as a tutor, I also gained experience in the video production space in Los Angeles, working alongside creative teams as a freelance videographer, editor, and photographer. I created photo assets, social reels, music videos, short-form documentaries, and commercials, which enhanced my knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and opened up opportunities for me to tutor film, photography, and digital media arts students. Currently, I work alongside a production company in NYC that produces high-level short-form content for leading brands in the health and wellness space, amassing 50+ Million views on TikTok and Instagram.

My passion for working with individuals with disabilities started when I was a Special Olympics swim coach in 2011. This led me to begin volunteering with the Disabled Students Program at my college, assisting with taking notes for my peers, which eventually landed me a job in the disability accommodations office. The specialized program where I ultimately started my career granted me many experiences working with individuals with ASD & ADHD. I developed a strong understanding of approaching the unique challenges when tutoring in the office or assisting the client in their classroom.
