"I am a current Master's student in Biochemistry. I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Science. I completed the Biology major with a minor in health disparities. I have received A's in both Chem 1 and Chem2.

I have worked in research labs since I have been a freshman in college. I have tutored in high-school and have tutored Chem1 and Biology. I was involved in a pre-health society called AED. I also worked as a TA for x-lab( and have taken the course) and been a mentor through chemistry outreach.

Having studied and taken classes in both chemistry and biology over the course of my education I understand that the classes can seem daunting and undoable. My job as your tutor is to help you reach your academic goals. I can help you by providing information and structure. I like to set up my tutoring classes with your questions rather than a lecture style. Basing on what you need help in, we can start working on more challenging problems. I think the best way to learn is by making mistakes in the tutoring session so you can have success in your classes.

I currently work in a Biochemistry Lab at the moment and the most important lesson I have learned is the only way to grow is through mistakes. Working in research has taught me the value of repetition and persistence.
