"I'm Marwan. I am an undergraduate Honors student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a 4.0 STEM GPA. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Physics and Computer Science. In my time in high school, I enrolled in AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Computer Science A and achieved the highest grade on all of them.

During high school I tutored my fellow peers and growing up I tutored my three younger siblings in mainly Algebra, Calculus and Computer Science. As a native Arabic speaker, I can also teach spoken and proper Arabic. My approach to teaching is mainly Socratic questioning and helping the student understand the concept rather than memorizing the process. This makes it so that the student doesn't have to rely on their memory and also deepens their understanding of the subject as a whole. Being an Arabic speaker is also very helpful to people who want to practice their speaking.

Most of the people I tutored historically were high school students and early college students. I think that is an important age to learn and understand basic algebra and calculus especially for students planning to specialize in a STEM field." less...
