"I am a passionate teacher that recognizes that each student is different. In order for the student to be successful, the teacher must meet them where they are. Every child can learn if his or her learning style is used and successfully implemented into the instruction.
I believe that learning should go hand in hand with real world situations in order to make the lessons relevant. Each student should have a voice and learn to use his or her voice to express the knowledge in the way it is understood by them. Learning should not be a chore; it should become an opportunity for the student to use his or her method of learning to interpret the information and be successful with its use.
I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2012 with a high concentration in Common Core instruction. I taught all subjects in 5th grade which also included special education students. Lessons had to be created that would fit all learners.
I have successfully created a Journaling method to understand the Common Core way of instructing.
