"Hello! I am a phonics, reading comprehension, grammar, and ESL tutor. I have been trained in the science of reading and teach elementary and middle school students phonics using this method. I teach reading comprehension by breaking down reading assignments, exploring the text with the student, and posing comprehension questions. I also tutor children, teenagers, and adults who are learning the English language.

I have an undergraduate degree in psychology from Appalachian State University and a master's degree in sociology from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I also transcribe audio and video files and, having studied grammar and trained as an editor, teach grammar and edit papers for clients.
