"I have 20+ years of experience as a home school educator, so I know the importance of adapting my teaching style to each student’s personality and needs. I also have five years of experience as a sexual risk avoidance educator in public school classrooms, so I am used to interacting with different students. As a professional speaker and published author with over fifteen years of experience, I’m proficient in writing, proofreading, and editing, and I enjoy assisting others to develop these skills.
My goal is to connect with each student, listen to them, assess their needs, and create an atmosphere in which learning is as enjoyable as possible. I see my role as cheerleader and encourager and try to boost the student’s confidence as we progress. I help them understand the requirements of their assignments and walk alongside them as they work through it.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business. My main expertise is in writing, Language Arts, and grammar, but I love math and history and tutor these subjects as well.
