"I graduated from West Virginia University in 2014 with a B.S. in Child Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Family and Youth Studies. However, during my time in college, I also studied the physical sciences, psychology, and music.
Since graduation, I spent nearly 10 years working for the Air Force in their Child & Youth Programs. I worked in the classroom as an early childhood educator, but also as a trainer, where I instructed the staff members. As a result, there are very few age groups I haven’t taught or tutored at some point in my life.
I am a huge proponent of the Multiple Intelligences Theory which states that everyone has some method of learning that they are able to utilize to be successful… it’s just a matter of teaching to fit their learning style, not the other way around.
