"I am currently teaching at a local Christian school. I teach Middle school and High school English as well as a Middle school math. I enjoy helping my students and would love an opportunity to invest in others. I am a Christian, and honoring the Lord is my first priority. He has given us many talents and gifts and expects us to use them in the proper ways. I have tutored several students over the past 6 years while I have been teaching. Of course I also work with a very diverse group of students so finding where they are and getting them to where they need to be is a task I work at daily.

I enjoy math. It is by far my favorite subject, and being a very logical thinker the greater the challange the more I love it. I have taught several different curriculums so I understand a variety of different objectives when it comes to math.

My degree is in Elementary education, but the last 2 years I have been working with high school students. High school English and all that it entails is much more complex than elementary English. We use the Bob Jones curriculum, and it is very challenging, but my students scores on their achievement testing has improved.
