"I'm Katie! I am currently one semester away from graduating from Indiana University Bloomington with my teaching degree for K-6th grade. My major is Elementary Education. I also have a reading license. I am extremely passionate about what I do. I absolutely love teaching and tutoring. My philosophy for teaching/tutoring is all students are unique and require an engaging educational environment. I want my students to be able to grow mentally, emotionally, and socially. I will create a safe environment for my students to learn and grow. I want them to feel comfortable. I want all my students and future students to have all the tools they might possibly need to succeed. I believe learning is meant to fun and exciting. I will act as a guide for your student's learning.

I have multiple years tutoring elementary students in all subjects. I have also worked in small groups on reading and writing skills with students ranging from K-6th grade. I am incredibly excited to tutor and hope to pass on my love of learning to the students. I love creating lessons that are fun and engaging!
