"My name is Kaitlyn. I graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and a minor in Spanish, in 2020. I have worked directly with children in the school systems since 2021: I am currently a Kindergarten teachers assistant but also have experience with one-on-one tutoring, and subbing both long term and short term. Outside of the classroom I am a 4th-6th grade cheerleading coach, heavily involved in various ministries at my church, and participate in local theatre.

I believe that learning should be enjoyable and that every child learns at their own pace. From my experience, children get frustrated and "hate school" when they start falling behind. Every child is born with the desire to learn, explore, and know more about the world around them and that becomes easier when they can do it at their own pace.
