"My degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education has granted me opportunities within the field, in a variety of roles and capacities. Early in my career, I worked as a preschool teacher, as well as an infant and toddler teacher in several child care programs. I very quickly was trained and qualified for more supervisory roles, which eventually led me to a very large Head Start program as an Education and Curriculum Coordinator within a public school setting. After some structural changes that occurred in Head Start, I returned to full time teaching at the elementary level , grades two and three until I became eligible for retirement.

Most currently, I have been working in Boston for a non-profit After-School program with K through 2nd grade students overseeing academic areas of Literacy and Math, as well as creative arts and music education. I would love to offer my services as a tutor to a child with needs in all or any literacy skills, which is my strength and passion.

Most recently I have been responsible for planning and implementing activities and lessons in these area of literacy skills for grade K through grade 2. Additionally, I have received ongoing training and am quite knowledgable with the Massachusetts Framework and teaching standards.
