This is my first and foremost goal.
Once your child feels safe they will be ready to take risks. They will learn it's ok to make a mistake because that is how we learn. Teaching is simply my passion. It is not a grueling job, as people say. It is a lifetime of smiles, happiness and best of all, getting to see the world through a child's eyes every single day.
I have a Masters from Long Island University and an Education degree from Pace University.
I have news for you. This is some great news. Math does not need to be scary. Math can actually be fun. The way to make math fun is by explaining the process. I take the time to teach children the meaning behind the problem and why it is relevant to them. I have been teaching K-3 math for over 25 years and use a spiral technique. This means we can move before mastery because we will spiral around and work with that concept again.
I would love to work with your child. I have been told that I am kind, caring and compassionate. I believe these are my best qualities. On top of that I will give your child the attention they deserve and the progress we all wish to see.
Please contact me if you have any further questions, want to learn more about me or schedule lessons. I am looking forward to helping your child succeed." less...
