"Hello, I'm Marc! I am brand new to the Wyzant platform. I have been in education for over 20 years. I absolutely love seeing students " get it". I previously owned a Mathnasium Learning Center for 14 years. I would like to take a line from my education director at Mathnasium, "Math has to be taught in a way that makes sense to them". I believe I have a gift when working with students. I can breakdown a math problem in many different ways. Every student learns differently. I currently hold a state of Colorado Math certification. My preference is to work with students' grades 2-9. Though I am not currently certified in Algebra 1, I can teach Algebra 1 with great proficiency.

I also tutor a 4th grader and a 7th grader in the evenings. Their individual grades and statewide tests have gone up exponentially.

In the spring of 2020, during COVID, I was hired to teach remotely to an entire county here in Colorado. I won numerous awards for excellence in teaching. I'm available mornings, afternoons, and evenings during the week, and I'm happy to tutor on weekends as well. I look forward to hearing from you! I promise you'll be very happy.
