"Hi, my name is Caroline and I have 10+ years teaching experience. I have been an ELA teacher in middle school (6-8th grades) the last seven years. Years of classroom experience as well as tutoring many age levels has given me a well rounded education experience.

Grammar, writing, and reading comprehension are my specialties and I have years of experience tutoring in these subjects. As a previous seventh grade homeroom teacher, I have taught and tutored in spelling, and vocabulary as well. Teaching students how to stay organized, plan ahead, take notes and prepare for tests are important skills that affect learning and confidence. I believe the earlier students learn these skills, the more successful they will be.

My goal as a teacher and tutor is to teach the whole child, all backgrounds or academic levels included. I use many teaching methods and can adapt those methods for all ages and skill levels. It is my job as a tutor to find what works for your student.
