"My name is Taylor! I graduated cum lade with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2018. I taught 5th grade for 1 year, then substituted until 2020. While substitute teaching, I fell in love with individualizing work and special education. I love seeing the small steps turn into big leaps, and seeing how excited the students get when they see it, too. I graduated with my masters degree in Special Education in 2021. I taught 4-5 special education resource for 1 year, 4th grade "life skills" for 1 year, and 2-5 grade resource in Spanish and English for 1 year (all in the same district).
I have experience in the "new" elementary math, reading, spelling, grammar, and writing. I also am very familiar with tailoring lessons to a student's needs to help them be successful.
