"I'm a former fourth and first grade teacher. I have substituted from Preschool to Grade 5 and taught basic skills in a Kindergarten setting, as well as, first through fifth grade. I am available to work with your PreKindergarten through Fourth Grade child in all aspects of elementary education. I currently live and previously worked in the Washington Township School District (NJ). I have extensive knowledge of K-2 Fundations (phonics program) and Everyday Math (K-5). I've recently trained on the Science of Reading and am so excited about using these strategies to help your struggling reader decode words! I have been seeing great results with my students! Note: I recently worked in the public school system and therefore have been background checked.

I make learning fun through games, varied activities and my enthusiasm! Sessions are specifically tailored to your child. I make a new lesson plan for every session with your child's unique needs in mind! Sessions are different for everyone, but will usually contain a review of the previous session, several new or reinforced skills and a "practice" assignment. Homework help is also available. My schedule and length of sessions (one hour weekly minimum) are flexible.
