"Hello, I’m Alyson! I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Music Therapy from the University of Iowa. While providing music therapy services to children and older adults, I took classes from Kansas State University to earn my Master’s in Elementary Education. I have now been teaching at the elementary level for two years.

I have experience working with multiple ages of students and I find so much joy in seeing students succeed and being part of their success. In my experiences, I’ve found that connecting with students and making the learning personal and meaningful to them helps them understand the content at a deeper level.

I want to be sure to do as much for my students as possible, therefore I adjust the material I’m teaching to the student’s individual abilities and needs.
