My name is Ekta and I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Management & Economics. For the past eight years, I have been a tutor to students in the third grade all the way to seniors in college. I have a wide variety of classes I have taught including Pre-Algebra and Algebra to Essay Writing & Reading at a college level. I have always been that kind of tutor who would go the extra mile for my students if it meant that they would get that extra point boost in their grades. I think that education is important and every student is smart- it is the type of teaching that makes all the difference. I am interactive, engaging, and most definitely, known to challenge my students to the best of their abilities.

I love tutoring for honestly many reasons but the most rewarding experience is when a student finally gets that "Ah-ha" moment. It's great to see when students finally start believing in themselves and conquering their toughest subjects.

Other than my private tutoring experience, I have taught several middle school and high school students in my college town during their after school programs where we would go in-depth over any questions they had in reading/writing and sometimes math classes. I also have worked at my University's writing center providing assistance to college students in their thesis statements, final papers, etc. My math qualifications range from Elementary (K-6th) math to Algebra 1&2; my reading/writing skills range from grammar to reading comprehension and essay editing.
