Since graduating college, I have been working in tech since 2018. I work fully remote from home so my hours are very flexible. I am more than happy to provide college prep questions as well. I am in the process of applying to Harvard Business School for my MBA in the next year. I scored a 2110/2400 on my SAT examination back in High School and gained offers to attend universities such as Georgetown, UCLA, UC Berkeley, among others.
I have tutored previously in college and in High school. In college, I was a Teacher's Assistant for Discrete Mathematics where I would host office hours for students that would need assistance on homework and/or general concept questions. I had done very well on this role that I was asked to stay as a TA for 2 more semesters until I graduated. In high school, I was asked to tutor underperforming kids in middle school that came from families that could not afford a tutor. I tutored these children for free, and helped them perform well throughout their subjects (math, science, and english) throughout my high school years as a tutor.
As mentioned earlier, I view math as a puzzle. My goal will not only be to help students learn the subject, but to enjoy solving complex problems through mathematics and gain their confidence. I also aim to make my students confident so that they can learn new concepts by themselves without the need of a tutor." less...
